It is still some sort of a fetish to like a certain thing or feature of a person or a group of people. Problem is that the concept of "fetishism" is mostly associated with negative thoughts like the men who like women feet or bondage for example. Fetish is a very personal thing and it doesn't fit the norm.

I am sure there's more than looks that you are looking for. Otherwise there isn't much to base your relationship on. You definitely need more than looks to keep the relationship going.

OP, if your girl said that it's a stupid fetish, then she probably has something against Asian males or interracial dating?

Her opinion of it being stupid is purely subjective. A lot of us have a fetish, or a preference as I would call it, in terms of who we are attracted to.

I agree that it is a fetish, in context of this site. Nothing wrong with it, I like woman with huge boobs, and there is nothing wrong with that, and that's a fetish too. in our discussion, she meant that attraction purely based on external factors such as ones race is a wrong way to approach relationships, as much as if I went around making passes at all DD cups around.

plus, I think she was pissed off that I was hanging around here with all these cute girls LOL
