I myself have a tiny fetish but i think im more into the whole different cultures type of living. it somewhat excites me so much! but...yeah, a fetish. =_=;

To a degree, it's true. I'd like to think my relationship with my boyfriend isn't based on fetish, and I can pretty much assure you it isn't. It's because we have a bit in common. Even if he weren't Asian, if he were white, I'd still like him. So, no for me personally it isn't a stupid fetish, but for some girls, it is. Some girls are more obsessed with the idea of "culture" than they are about the "people" of the culture. The idea of being with someone of "culture" tickles their fancy, I've seen it happen. Kind of sad.

Why thank you. I've always thought so too.

I'd think it was rude, ignorant and rather sad that someone who is in a relationship with an Asian man would believe that Asian men are not appealing enough in there own right to attract females of other ethnicities.

Heck yeah,same goes for non-Asian women,coming from an Asian males' point of view that is..or any man for that matter.

I guess it's a fetish ...or a preference. Can't really help thinking asians are in general more attractive than other races, now can I.... For me it's got nothing to do with cultures and background story,- it's more like beauty and being drawn to something, shallow as it may sound....

This doesn't mean I like all asian guys... place a 100 white men and one asian in a room, doesn't necessarily mean I will approach the asian (ohh I don't like ONLY asian men, but the majority)

Anyway, yeah, some people keep telling me it's a fetish but hey - what can I do? It's like being gay and deny everything about it. Totally pointless

Hmmm... The fact that I like Asian boys is not because of their 'culture' or whatever, it's because of their looks.
It's not that I just like Asians, but they tend to fit better with my idea of "handsome guy".
So to me it is not a fetish, I don't like a boy automatically for being Asian. If he is good looking he will attract me, Asian or not. And after that we'll see if I like him as a person, which is the most important part.
