Your Thoughts on Old Age and Death

Wow, what a controversial question..
Disclaimer: Not trying to shove my opinion down anyone's throat. Just stating what I believe personally. My thoughts on death - sad but inevitable. I believe that when we die we will still have a sense of consciousness, or 'self'. I think the ability to think and love and feel emotions and have memories is a beautiful gift and one I wouldn't want to lose when I die. I believe when our soul is in the 4th dimension that we will be in a state with no feelings of sadness or sorrow just a peaceful tranquility. FYI: I'm spiritual but I don't belong to any certain religion.
I don't believe in God-(s) or the Devil.
I just believe in both positive and negative spirits due to the lifestyle one lived while they were living.
