I'm not afraid dying, I'm more afraid of not passing my genes and making sure he/she will have a safe and comfortable future.

I don't care about dying. I do get scared I will die before my son is old enough to care for himself. I just want to make it to his 20th birthday after that everyday will just be icing :)

Death and old age is a natural process of life. I almost don't think about it. I just live my life naturally and when it happens, it happens.

I wish my appearance doesn't change and I was immortal, kind of similar to the characters in "In Time"

comedian Roseanne Barr, age 63(?), said she is slowly losing her eyesight and will one day go blind. she said her dad had the same condition. very sad.

make this your mantra today: "look inside my soul and you can find gold and maybe get rich." // "in the cold Kentucky rayyayayaayn." - Elvis

Death means being in a grave alone and that scares me.
also scared to get old with no friends or having my sisters and mom beside me

I don't fear death -- I only fear that I won't be remembered in anyone's heart when I die. I'm scared of dying alone and being forgotten. I just want to find someone that I can build and share my life with -- I only fear dying before that happens.

I am scared of old age as well -- I am scared of becoming ill and unable to be independent or facing dementia. To be honest, I imagine if those fears started becoming real, I don't know what I would do.

Well as a down to earth christians point of view.
As for growing old... I see it as another phase in life. It can be both exciting times and scary just like any other phase we go thru in life.
I see growing old as a bunch of tests of wisdom. When we are younger we get to be more attractive and we depend on certain things in life.
I think there's a big test of wisdom that God gives us,we need to learn to see things that are past skin deep...We need to learn to trust him in whatever we go thru...We can learn to be strong even when we are weak...Elderly people are much needed in this world as our good examples and role models. Yes they make good role models...They can teach us younger people so many things. Things like health, respect, manners, family morals etc...Even if they are at their weakest, they too are needed.

My views on Death as a christian and a human being.
Well as a human like you, I am afraid to die and lose my loved ones forever and afraid of suffering.
As a christian, I have a hope that the death is temporary...
That this wisdom that we had to go thru and learn in all the phases of our life has meaning and purpose.
Everything we ever loved, if it was true love that God made, it will live forever.
If it was false misleading love it will die forever, unless we put it all in his hands and learn to trust him.

I see it as our bodies start to fall apart and if our brains dont work, there is still a soul inside that speaks clearly...Even if others cant hear it.Even if his or her mouth cant say things right or remember anything at the time. It's a test of faith and love.
