Ask an Atheist Anything

How about you ppl spend sometime to learn Chinese, in case immortal form is too expensive in western country. Then you can get it done cheap in China

I have a question,

where did you get the definition of atheism that you are using from? Is it personal or from somewhere else?

I thought you never played the victim and didn't allow emotions to enter into your arguments?

That was a lot of butthurt if I ever saw it. If you don't want to be contradicted and have the fault of your arguments pointed out, then why are you attempting to debate? Go talk to yourself if it is too confusing to keep up with your own claims, because that is exactly the point of arguing/debating: argument (claim with supporting evidence), then counter argument (counter claim with evidence) and so on.

And if you're going to declare yourself to be a man of truth, knowledge and reason while telling other people how stupid and ridiculous their beliefs are then you better be damn sure your truth, knowledge and reason can hold up under a little scrutiny and criticism. Otherwise you come off as a condescending know it all hypocrite.

Atheism is, in the broadest sense, the absence of belief in the existence of deities.[1][2][3][4] Less broadly, atheism is the rejection of belief that any deities exist.[5][6] In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.[1][2][7] Atheism is contrasted with theism,[8][9] which, in its most general form, is the belief that at least one deity exists.[9][10][11]

Disbelief about something doesn't mean the belief of its polar opposite. And as stated there, in the wikipedia definition, in an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities, and might I expound, there are no deities unless there is substantial evidence to prove one. We do not rule out the possibility of the existence of anything, it is impossible to disprove a negative, but we can determine whether the arguments and justifications of something is inadequate, and when it fails the strict criteria of reason and logic.

So, wikipedia? I was just asking where because according to searches they are from wikipedia and a site about atheism. Am I correct that these are the origins of your definitions? Because I was asking where.

Yes, sadly it has. And yes, I do not let arguments affect me emotionally normally, but when I can sense that person is not really interested in the topic but find pleasure in trolling, which is what you are doing. It is my right to avoid you, and you have made blatant attacks to my personality, which was uncalled for, and called me to be lacking in human sympathy, which I do take offense, cos that's the greatest insult a person can give to me, yet I remained patient. But just like any other vexation to the spirit, I must avoid you, you already know what my views are, or insist what my views are, and I already know your stance, there is no point of us interacting with each other anymore, to further extend it, as you said you would, is merely trolling.
