Is it just me or are American girls typically not that interested in Asian men

So let me explain myself alittle more. So I live in TX and I would say I'm not one of those types that hangs out with his "own" if you know what I mean. Now I'm no Cassanova but I'm definitely not a creeper. I'm just a regular, sincere, and easy-going person. But all girls just don't seem to show any interest (even asian girls!) for that matter. I mean maybe b/c it's TX so girls typically looking more for the big Football, country boy type but I live in a pretty big city that's also pretty diverse. I found this site through a friend and noticed that there alot more European women here that are open or interested. Why is that? Lol is it b/c I'm in TX? Maybe I need to move to Europe haha. So what's yall take on this?

I mean I don't see why there couldn't be a few asian-lovers in every country/state. There's bound to be some of them. But if not, then move! ;P

Haha darn, why aren't you on the east coast?! I have the same problem with Asian men lol. I'm an American girl, and I'm seriously into Asians. And actually, if you look here ,you'll see that there are more U.S. girls on this site than from any other country. The only other country with a large number of females on the site is Germany. So don't worry, there are plenty of American girls here for you ^.~

Tomo-chan is right. The majority of the girls on this site are actually from America and not anywhere in Europe. I also agree on the East Coast thing ^.^ Maybe the west has too many Asians? (I don't mean to be offensive but I noticed a lot of people are from California, for example, and maybe there just isn't enough girls to go around there?) I am not sure why you have a problem though lol Might just be Texas

Ah thanks for the quick replies haha But I do have to point out one thing though. The largest number of Asian males on the site is from the US. Maybe it's just me but that implies that alot of Asian males here in the US are also facing similar problems like me. Just a thought a though

Ya but i think that might also go back to the location thing. If you are in an area where there's, for example, 20 girls interested in asians but there's 100 asians....It's not gonna work.

And it's not just you about America girls in general. That, I think, goes back to the whole negative stereotype thing or media or whatever. Not to mention some people won't even consider it becuase of their families ect ect or just have never been attracted to asian males or just never met one that sparked their fancy.

I'm in the South and there's plenty of girls here who like asian guys (although that might be counting the ones that are weeaboo? or whatever they are called. The obsessed ones) But, I'm going to be honest here (Disclaimer lol I dont want anyone mad. This isn't everyone this is just people I know personally blah blah all that) Most people I know would not date an asian, generally for attraction reasons or because asians here tend to only hang out with other asians so there's really no way to breach that barrier.

But as an American girls I have to say, don't give up ^.^ you'll find someone eventually. But if you want to move that's up to your discretion too

Haha don't worry, don't worry, there's someone out there for everyone, right? That was a good point that Fair made...I didn't realize it, but a lot of the Asian males from the U.S. that are on this site live on the west coast...I agree with Fair; it might be because of the high population of Asians on the west coast--it probably makes it hard for an Asian to meet someone who's into Asians, because they're probably already with an Asian lol. On the east coast, there's not as many (especially where I live T.T), so you might have more of a chance there. It's been about six years since I first realized I liked Asian men, and I still haven't given up on finding the Asian man for me (which is pretty hard when your state population is 98% white). In saying this, I say "Don't give up, keep on fighting!!," because the girl for you might be looking for you too. It may take a long time (for me it's taking 6+ years!! lol), but it's worth it when you meet the person meant for you^^

The Asian men should definitely go to Europe.. Iceland perhaps. Just a thought 8-)

I think Asians raised in very -traditional- families will have this problem. Here's the deal:

First of all, how will most girls show interest? Judging by your photos, I guarantee girls show interest in you. You may just be a little too clueless to tell lol. Girls are not going to come up to you and say "hey, I like you." All they're going to do is give you repeated eye contact. If they really like you, they'll either hold eye contact really long, or break it off right away. The girls who look at you for a normal, platonic amt of time have lukewarm interest.

Secondly, after the eye contact is made, you have to make a move, or it will most likely fizzle.

Thirdly, you're probably a very shy guy, so meet girls through your friends. Make friends with guys who have female friends. Friends friends friends will lead to girls.
