我在语言学院学习。我是学生的科隆 大学。也学法学。

Ahhh! This is the only one tough thing in chinese.. THIS grammar! THIS! It's like from outer space D:

You're doing good! but a good way to remember is that 的 cannot be used in the exact same way as 'of'. In Chinese (and japanese and korean too) possession is from big to small. Like, you can say 'I am X college's student', but you cannot say 'I am a student of X college'.

Another example is: "my student" is "我的学生",
but in chinese you cannot say "student of mine", or "学生的我"
