Any white girls speak Mandarin?

Any white girls speak Mandarin here? How well? Also any can read and write Chinese?

Just trying to get a sense of the language abilities of girls here who can speak Mandarin.

Also if you are Russian or speaks Russian, please let me know.

i'm learning it....but really slowly,and not learn the characters yet,coz the 2 languages i learn at university are stressing me out enough already,so chinese is just free time activity for now. unfortunately

I took it in university for 2 years, lived there for a while, and try to practice when I came... but its just hard the language in general... I hope one day I can become comfortable in it.

I can read it, but I am shy in the abilities to type it back sometimes... because I doubt myself haha

Great to hear some girls can speak Mandarin here and even been to China as well. I travelled back to China numerous times to visit my extended family. I saw some white girls in China and it seems most of them there is of Eastern European or Russian descent; although I've met a few Irish and German girls in Beijing as well.

My computer is not installed with a Chinese input character but it is great to see white girls who can write Chinese.

My family is actually from Beijing but I was born and grew up in Toronto. Btw, I've updated my profile a bit. Thanks for replying this thread.

I am recently able to make very simple phrases in Mandarin, but, I'm still learning the basics, I love the language and so far I find I'm really getting a lot of it in a short time, even reading the Hanzi!! The only thing is how to write here in hanzi....

I really take no offense at the term white. Just saying. ^^

Yeah well most people don't find it offensive and really it is not offensive. I just don't like the fact that it places emphasis on skin colour instead of the racial classification. I also never call anyone black blahblah.
