There are two main areas of concentration where Indian people live. One is Brampton (where I grew up and went to school) and the other is Surrey (a city I live next to). I have no idea what turkish and lebanese music sounds like. The Indians I grew up around were mostly from Punjab region I think and sikh.

Yeah....so I had a lot of Indian friends back in the day and a few crushes on the girls too haha.

Turkish and leb music sounds very middle eastern, sometimes it can sound a little Bollywood so we're constantly taking inspiration from one another

Some desi's are gorgeous. I live amongst an Indian community for many years in Sydney. About Bollywood.. people from the middle eastern countries (e.g. Egypt) seem to like Bollywood entertainment too.

I agree with an earlier poster about Malaysian. Some of my closest friends are Malaysians of Indian heritage. It is quite common there to see mixed Indian-Chinese kids (we call them Chindians lol). Our famous Sydney food 'laksa' is a proof of the cultural assimilation decades ago.
