Indian Girls???

Marrying out is not seen in the same positive light in India. In general I think majority of people consider interracial relationship to be X male/female with White M/F. Case in point the logo of this website.

I am, and I know of Indian girls who like asian look, and will find an occassional asian guy attractive. But culturally they are not outgoing and probably the least likely to pursue a guy. Secondly, there is a common perception among some of my peers that Asian men either like asian women or go for the default pairing I mentioned above, both of which indicate a preference for pale skin. No girl likes rejection and so u wont see an indian girl holding out for asian guys.

I am dating an asian man but before meeting him, it never occured to me that I could, would or should date an asian man, even though I do find the Takeshi Kaneshiros and Daniel Henney's extremely attractive.

I am from a pretty liberal background, as my parents were quite ok with my bf. And its the same with a lot of indian girls. While indians dont prefer interracial relationships (for cultural and practical reasons) I think especially out of india there wouldnt be a lot of them against it. If that were the case, you wouldnt see white men and indian/pakistani women.

Its a pity though because from knowing my asian friends and culture I think its a pretty decent match. The basic values both cultures ascribe to is pretty similar, however there are enough differences to make for an exciting intercultural relationship. Ironically, South Asian women and East Asian men are the 2 categories least likely to marry out (i think the stat is from that surbey you were referring to). The stats flip when you reach their counterparts (east asian women and south asian men). Its just one of those funny groups that I dont think consciously think about dating each other.

errr how FOBBY are we talking here? I just never saw THAT much difference (at least the off putting type) between AB and FOB indian GIRLS. Men on the other hand...

Sorry to bring this topic again but i just wanna say actually personally im attracted to indian girls very much too !! and to be fair i think indian girls should be more opened to east asian guys as well cuz most of the indian girls i see are beautiful ,some are absolutely stunning ! heard of katrina kaif?
