Same here. I sometimes feel like I'm so pale I glow in the dark. When I was travelling in Asia I got a little bit of a tan, but people kept asking me, how I managed to not tan and complimented me on my skin.

Awh aha at least your being complimented on your skin, everyone here thinks tan is the better skin color and people like me who don't tan aren't exactly complimented on it. :[

I do not know, but we like pale

I don't mind tan since I'm tanned myself ^^;
even tho most asians like pale *sigh sigh*

why doesnt anyone in this site understand that no matter what physical attributes you have, someone else in the world has those as well, and if they can attract people, so can you?????!!!

some people tend to pull it off better than others.

Silly asians who would only go for pale skin. Science have proved numerous times the superior health benefits of having a tanned skin. Therefore that "superiority" of paler skin is just a mislead human conception. Period.

I personally prefer a medium skin color, not too pale, not too dark.
