How do you celebrate your heritage?

My family has family reunions, we meet at the park in the summer time and throw meat on the grill maybe bbq, someone might sneak a beer in a Mt Dew bottle, then we all clash with our personalities like karma was joken haha

my family reunions would be like my chinese side will talk and mock about the native indonesians, and my indonesian side would praise the chinese side, T_T why is my chinese side very racist towards my indonesian side and plus the chinese people doesn't even care that I am part indonesian it's pissing me off, i hate my family, i wish i was never asian, i wish i was never southeast asian, i wish i was never a human

sorry to hear that, must be hard .
My family is'nt perfect niether, some of them stereo type eachother or have religeous differences and alot are mouthy and like to cause trouble.

Best thing to do is just hang out with the ones that you get along with and keep your distance from the ones that hurt you. You can still love them unconditionaly at a distance , it's not your fault they hurt you.
You dont have to get chummy with all of them.
I have to keep my distance from some too.

we have a party called "immigrant party" every year the people from European and Asian celebrate their arrival in Argentina, and their escape from World War II with a party that lasts two weeks.
two weeks in each culture that shows what essential characteristic of their origin, on the other hand, mixes girls are competing for who will be the queen of the party..

I am a mix, my maternal grandparents are Japanese and Italian
and my paternal grandparents are Italian and Spanish

Organizing cultural programmes in various festivals coz we are rich in festivals and gettogether friends or family party...

ultimately, by finding a white girl and spreading my seeds .. *cough* i mean my heritage
