Yep membership acceptance usually takes 1-2 weeks on average. That's not within my control, but you can individually message the main administrator to try to quicken the process.

A small meetup group including the AMWF/AMXF group will be gathering together to see 'The Hunger Games MockingJay Part 2' - the last instalment! It will be a standard session this Saturday 2pm at Event Cinemas Macquarie, meeting 15min beforehand at the box office area. We'll try for the back 3-5 rows of the massive 390-seat theatre.

There are no additional meetup charges. You can also use any manner of discounts that you like. Join us and notify me beforehand if you're keen.

Time for a bit of change in scenery for my larger Friday night dinner & drinks nights. This will be in the north at Chatswood. Our big dinner and drinks between multiple meetup groups including AMWF/AMXF typically get over 20 people. As of Monday we already have 12 projected going which will only rise by this Friday. So it will be a fantastic group of people . Come and leave anytime, and bring your friends too.

Time: Friday 27th November, from 6.30pm until 10pm.

Location: Chelsea Hotel ( chelseahotel.com.au/ ) which is right next to Chatswood Station on the west side. The Chelsea Hotel is a true inner-city style pub that welcomes all. From its renowned meals to the great beer garden, you’ll feel right at home at this oasis in the middle of Chatswood. We will be at the MEZZANINE FLOOR i.e. slightly upper floor which has a capacity of about 30 people, and hopefully occupy most of this depending on how many people show up.

It's also great for anyone who works or lives up north in particular! (Which is not me ... am making a sacrifice to suit my white girlfriend lol)

Cost: While a free meetup, if you like the event do chip in with a small donation to help keep the meetup groups running.
