Sydney Meetups 2015

On Saturday 18th April there will be the 'Big Day Out' in the city. It's between multiple meetup groups including Sydney Women & Asian Men. It will consist of:

* Art exhibit @ Darling Harbour - Nomanslanding 11am - meet at the western entrance
* Art exhibition @ Contemporary Centre of Asian Art 'Tell Me My Truth' 12pm - meet at the entrance
* Yum cha @ Zilver Restaurant Chinatown 1pm - $2 meetup fee, split food costs
* Karaoke @ K2 Karaoke Lounge Chinatown just downstairs and around the corner 3pm - $12 for 2hrs incl a soft drink.

We anticipate at least 10 for each of yum cha and karaoke from the multiple groups.

Was excellent to hang out with you yesterday and finally see you! Art, yum cha and karaoke were really fun.

It's time for another drinks and dinner in the city. With 30 people expected based on previous attendances to drinks/dinner events in the city, this will make the earlier event I put on this forum topic seem small . This time we're going to The Watershed in Darling Harbour on Friday 1st May starting from 6pm til late.

Our combined meetup including Sydney Women & Asian Men ( www.meetup.com/Sydne...ents/221860073/ ) will be inside. Find us in the raised area, on the inner left as you go in from the main entrance. Meals and drinks are pretty affordable and you may catch the happy hours deals up until 7pm.

Come and bring your friends for great conversation, music and fun at this event! Also feel free to join the meetup group if you haven't already!

On www.meetup.com/Sydne...omen-Asian-Men/ we have some more events coming up; these are combined of a smaller more friendly nature i.e. around 5-10 people rather than 30+.

Loads of women (mainly white) are coming from the other groups for these events, and my events are generally skewed towards a female-majority. So feel free to sign up to the meetup group and come along.

www.meetup.com/Sydne...omen-Asian-Men/ is about to shut down as our current admin and myself are too busy with our lives to renew the group. It would be a shame to shut it down, as all those people who are interested in AMWF/AMXF friendships and relationships would all be lost into the ether!

If someone would like to take over the group you have:

* Direct access to advertise Sydney events to 475 people
* Set your own agenda or tone for events
* Allow your friends to get on and put events for you as well.

And it only costs US$110 per 6 months.
