Thats unfortunate that you experienced this..I agree that LDR should not be halfhearted..It is hard enough due to distance in the first place and creates a challenge..I have had a similar experience where i have also spent lots of time a money on traveling for everything to flop and not work out..Not everyone falls in love at once..Sometimes it takes time..It sounds like you took the time and dedication to get to know these women and it was not recipricated. It is a hard lesson to go through..I also have gave up everything for a guy to move to Germany for things not to work out..Needless to say i am still here..with only my children as the only family I have..It is not easy and its dissapointing to go through..I find it makes us stronger people though in the end..You can only be rejected so many times before you get a yes and closer to what you want..If I had a euro for everytime I got rejected?I would be rich.In fact I am rich..I am learning to handle rejection better than i did before..if you get rejected, that is not a reflection of your self worth.Your value is the same.Just those people were not compatible with you. I have learned a lot from failed relationships..It is definatly something that even if we are dissapointed or hurt, helps us grow in some way..I would love to get to know someone and us getting close and us spending our lives with each other..Has not happened yet.I was even with a guy for 4 years and his family asked when we would get married..He told them over his dead body..I was shocked that he had no appreciated those years of investment..It helped me see the truth though..That the relationship was going nowhere and it was toxic..Even though we had a child..Thats it..Just hang in there and be patient..You have to run into a lot of false women to find the right one..In the meantime just keep working on being the best version of you..There is no guarentees in life.Even when i thought the person i cared about felt the same, it wasnt so.I seen it as a setback..But i am working on myself while pursuing what i want..Eventually we will get what we are looking for.. In reply to the guy with the flaky women..

Grab the person you fancy and make it to the list like now, before we never see each other again .

My story actually was not a success but a little bit of a failure and learning lesson. I met a girl here and we seem to hit it off, but I soon came to realize that she was an overall bad person. We both lived in different states and when it came down to it, she wasn't committed to the relationship.

1. I came to visit her and during our visit she left in the middle of our date to run errands

2. She always makes excuses why she couldn't visit me, but somehow she made the time to visit her friends in a different state

3. When we video chat or talk she really doesn't pay attention to what I have to say. When I bring the topic of future plans up, she accuses me of not telling her beforehand when I actually did

These are some of the major red flags of her that I tried to ignore because I was blinded by strong feelings for her. I soon came to realize that I put her before myself. I confronted her about what she did and she kept denying it and throwing temper tandrums. I'm glad that I stopped myself before any self respect I had left was lost. Hopefully the next person I'll meet on this site will be a much better experience.

she just aint that into you....if you have a girl into you , she be eagered for you and all... look for a better girl ...

you have to recognize when the other person is a problem and a waste of your effort than to keep investing in a deadend....

i just personally have more successes in person and in real life.... there quite a bit of weird sh*t going on here it feels...-_- go back to real life if you can...

Thanks brother. It took me way too long to realize that she really didn't like me. I definitely won't make that mistake again
