Going to China!

Yay! Finally , this year my dream come true- im planning to go to Beijing for 3 months
So...
any experience with traveling to China? What should i do before do there?
Any advices with food, people and bevario for 外国 like me haha ;D
What should i visit?
Where to go? Any great places for night life?
Oh i really love to meet someone there just to chat and drink haha i will be there so alone ><

Oh I lived in Beijing for 1½ month!
So exciting. Hope youll have an amazing time there!

I would recommend to go party at "san li tun" (not sure if I spelled it correctly. theres some pretty big clubs nearby the bar street there. They're called "Vics", "Latte", eh forgot the name of the third. but it's right in front of Vics..
My favorite club was Latte so I would totally recommend to go there! Prink before cause it's a bit pricy...
If youre far from san li tun then theres also Propaganda and a bar nearby called Helens. try to google the places cause I forgot the street names etc.

You should also check out the Yashow market, and the silk market. But their prices are ridiciulous so you ahve to bargain. Especially at the silkmarket. Sometimes they start at 2000 and end at 50..
There's also a really interesting food street near the forbidden city. It's called wangfujing. It's one of the small side streets to the big one right next to the forbidden city.

When are you going there? in the Winter season?

Then you really have to bring body loition and lip balm, and hand cream.

The air was so extremely dry when I was there last winter that my skin started to "crack" cause i didnt have any lotion. My lips, hands, legs. it was so painful. All the other people I went there with experienced the same so it's not me who's sensitive, it really is the dry weather..

Yes The weather of Beijing is always impress us feel it is very dry
The southern weather is different from the northern weather North the weather is usually cold, the South is warm, It's very hot in summer in South

Yeah im going on summer for 3 months, i heard that is really hot here ^^ also i have to take care of my skin because of polution
Im going with my friend, on au pair exchange. I hope we will do this and some family will take care of us
