Where in Japan would you like to live?

But I think I would prefer Shizuoka prefecture since it is more natural and for the atmosphere (I have been there 3 times and really like it)

Guys guys guys! I'm moving to Tashiro-jima (aka Cat Island)! It's a small island in Miyagi Prefecture. It's home to more cats than people in Japan.

Kyoto or Osaka <3

Congrats to you on your job offer in Japan!
To experience Japan, I'd suggest stay clear of Roppongi. Go to Kyoto, you can't go wrong there. Osaka would be nice, too. If you can, live around the border of Kyoto or Osaka.
Hokkaido if you are brave. Okinawa if you are not.

I think I will change my mind about moving to Japan because it's not safe as depicted in J-dramas or animes. I know their crime rate is relatively low compared to the rest of the world but those statistics don't include 'cat-related attacks'.
