People have become lazy. I wouldn't want to date these people let alone get into a relationship. I was talking to a woman close to my age and she really doesn't really communicate well. I had women in their 20's who had better communication skills. It wasn't on a dating site, maybe that's the key? lol

I remember back in the days before this site was classified as a dating site, but rather an exchange of cultural views and friendships. We had people mostly all over europe and we had great discussions and meet-ups and events like secret santa (I took part twice). Nowadays, people want relationship yesterday, not only in your country, but rather same town. If you're below the average model, you're not worth the time. So yeah...I guess people are lazy.
However, I might add something. I've been on and off Hey-ai and this other internet site which I will not name, but is it ONE thing that guys seems to forget, is that females tend to get TONS and TONS and TONS of messages, and we are all people who have lives offline. If you don't get a reply or if the communication is shit or lacking in some ways, it might be that
1) answering 50 messages per day might be a bit tiresome. And that's for the average lady. The top 10s probably get like a 100 messages. We WILL sort you out.
2) she's horrible at socializing online
3) she's not that interested (because MOST people want right now, yesterday and at their current location, not BILLION miles away and probably never) and is probably answering to be polite
4) she doesn't actually believe in the whole friendship online thing and only wants to check it out.
5) Probably as clueless as many of the guys who've sent me messages.

Best way to avoid it, is actually give an impression. I mean...be creative. A simple 'hi' or 'how are you' are probably the messages I get the most and..... it's like... If I get 10 of those and 2 of something that I can actually reply to, I will ignore the 'hi's.

This is getting out of hand. Just reminding people that girls tend to get alot of messages. And not everyone will reply.

I squandered my opportunities back in the days when this place was more vibrant and global travel was possible :'(

On a few occasions where I tried to take the plunge I backed outta them.... happiness turns to sadness :'(

@Cihx: i remember the good ol days too. im also consider myself as one of the vets around here. most people dont remember me because i wasnt quite active in the threads. well i can only speak for myself. i havent and i would never message a person with lines like "hi" or "empty connection requests". i always written a kind and friendly sentence but guess what: it doesnt work. the funny thing is that most women dont reply to guys like me. they prefer some dudes with half naked bodies. and when those dudes turn out as idiots lots of women crying and complaining about these type of guys.

Well, we're not ALL like that. And for the record, i get ignored tons too. I'm not exactly a 10. And I get ghosted and whatnot. But we dont all want swashbuckling washboards. There's always Google for that. But yes, i agree, hey ai isnt very good for conversations. Tbh, i can never keep a conversation going, unless we have similar interests, So that's why my convos usually die out 🤔

You aren't missing anything. it appears most people who respond to my messages are using a cell phone. It's low quality response. I was messaging with two women but they were feminists and we clashed so I'm not interested in message these white women anymore. I refuse to give thesefeminists much effort. Forums is best for me although it's not that active. I go to other forums which is far more active.
