a good way to meet new people is to go up to a sexy person in the supermarket and hand them a carrot and be like "hey yo, the price of salad these days is getting expensive!"

What are you suppose to do if the reaction is "Huh?". I would imagine myself having that reaction if some random girl did that

well a good way to meet new people is to be you're self and go outside with your friends and meet friends of you're friends.. and other way to meet new people hmm is to go on social sites and after maybe u will get to see them in real .. o.o

i would honestly laugh. hysterically.
then slowly amble away, *still laughing* as they held the carrot i gave them.

well i reckon the best way is to join those local communities for instance churchs, clubs if you were new to the area, they'd welcome you if you got the same interests, then you will start having regular acquaintances and you may make friends with some of them, that's what i did

Frankly I don't think it will work but If im the guy i'll bite the carrot in two and return back to you. then head off.

I'd have problems making the connection from carrot to salad. To me salad = romaine lettuce.
