China uncensored is one of the most biased sinophobic channels there is.
And to say that chinese hate democracy is the biggest lie as it was never that simple.
~
Mainland chinese thoughts on democracy
The ignorance is that chinese are told they are either brainwashed or acting out of genuine fear if they go against the hk protest fighting for the glorious virtue of democracy. Who do you think is brainwashed?
Maybe you should ask yourself why mainlanders defend a country that is so very terrible to them? Maybe because they like their country and appreciate it.
Dude, there are bright lines to be drawn in defence of democracy. They should not extend to choosing sides foolishly,. There’s everything to be gained from democractic values and nothing from partsan ignorance.
A guardian article quoted:
www.theguardian.com/...inese-dissident"Studies show, however, that where transitions to electoral democracy occur in countries with low levels of average wealth, the rule of law does not necessarily follow, but instability and low levels of development do. Neither does electoral democracy deliver good governance, nor even sustain itself under such conditions."
So china created an alternative system that helps to lift hundreds of million from poverty and boost the middle class
~
Do you ever essentially ask yourself why chinese are not at all interested in your western democracy despite they thoroghly learned how it works. Do you even learn the bare minimum basics of our political meroticracy?

If not, how can you just hate something you don't even know indepth mostly because your mainsteam media and schools rately ever teaches you that?

It feels like racism as many of their actions are no different in actions of a right wing racist trump fan.
~
“On the city’s college campuses, we’ve known for some time that mainland students are sometimes referred to by the slur "shina dogs” and asked to “go back to China”.
“Go back to …” - sounds familiar? In the United States, for example, with anti-immigrant sentiment and xenophobia on the rise over the past few years, immigrants - including those from China - and even native-born ethnic minorities have been hearing more of that from the far right.
With the global surge of nativism, new arrivals are often a convenient scapegoat for almost anything the natives are unhappy about, from snapping up expensive goods to “stealing” jobs and opportunities.
….Instead of going after the powerful Chinese leadership for their grievances, some Hong Kong protesters chose to violently vent their frustrations on ordinary mainlanders, and the movement as a whole has not disavowed those behaviours - which are in fact borderline hate crimes.“

A Middle-aged man who shouted ‘I love China! I am mainland Chinese’ was then mobbed and assaulted until he loses consciousness. He was group bashed and kicked savagely..
www.dimsumdaily.hk/m...ess-in-wan-chai
What was his crime? He didn’t deserve that.
There is fault on all sides of any dispute. Of course there is fault on the gov but it's not as black and white as your media will ever tell you.
Do you DEPEND on the media to straight tell you everything like good sheep? The gift of a biased chinese media to the population, is that no mature chinese seriously believes that china media will tell them everything. Duhh! Yet it appears such an important lesson was never at all learned by westerners or my western born asian bros. That is an alarming weakness.
Ask yourself CAREFULLY why Human Rights Watch is quiet on the savagery of Bolovia right wing coup. Or why the us mainstream media hide the significance of their nation's leaked war criminal lies and Atrocity propaganda of a "humanitatian intervention" in libya.
You never once asked yourself that? If I was american, i'd only vote for Bernie Sanders as he is not owned by corrupt corps and fights for the common man above corporate interests.

And I'm betting you don't know how to even define communism or how it differs from capitalism Only just knows to hate communism without understanding China is not even legit communist bro but only by the name of gov.
Communism as a political system never was implemented anywhere. Cuba was flirting with it within the first few years after the revolution. China tried to move in that direction during the Cultural Revolution. North Korea might make some claims, too. But, in reality, all of these countries always have been socialistic countries. Communism as a political reality existed mostly in the minds of undereducated American politicians and commentators.

Deng reformed the economy way back in the 80s and it has been decades now and yet you think legit real communism currently or had ever had existed in practise. That is ignorant.

I think Asio and Nine network needs to verify William’ Liqiang story first. And see if the facts stack up before letting the media promote him as a spy so publicly. Now they have a duty to protect him because spy or no spy. China will punish him either way if they get the chance.
William’ Liqiang looks no older than 30 and turned himself to authorities with a fake passport, and much of what he claims like kidnapped booksellers, pro beijing mayor hans in Taiwan, interference in hk etc were already very familiar china speculative topics in the public’s radar.
According to ABC news, The chinese gov says he’s a fraudster wanted in china for fraud and trying to escape china as he conned a lot of people.

Whereas on the nine media, they say Wang claims to know the names of the higher officials in spy operations.
I should point out a relevant important fact there
_
In howstuffworks, it explains logically the importance of protecting info.
“…the new spy will be put in contact with a controller. The controller will offer some training in spying methods and issue instructions for obtaining and transmitting information. The spy will usually have contact with no one else, never learning the names of any other spies or officials. This is known as compartmentalization. Each spy works within his own compartment, so if he is captured and interrogated, he can’t reveal vital information or the identities of other spies.”
people.howstuffworks.com/spy.htm
_
Hence I do want to know how Wang is able to know the people in australia, hong kong, etc who are senior military intelligence officers? Given how important “need to know” system is, and that is a very sensible valid question to ask and to be answered. Is it not?
The investigation on Wang is ongoing and i choose to wait for it before forming my own conclusions. And want to know how he was able to exactly know the names of the senior military intel officers. I have my doubts but unless I know all the information of asio investigation. I am not jumping to conclusions and take channel 9 network’s words at face value.
You shoud know the Age is categorically stating that this man is a Chinese spy. They could have written “ a man claiming to be a Chinese spy….”, but they did not. Despite the AFP imvestigaymtion is still CUREENTLY trying to verify the facts.
The Age is now owned by Channel Nine and the Liberal Party recently held a fund raising event at Nine’s headquarters.

Remember Bloomberg and its spy Chip and Vodafone backdoor? It was a speculative story pushed on rumors and loose evidence.
Vofafone, Apple and Amazon criticised Bloomberg for writing false sensational stories without any strong evidence.
Apple CEO Tim Cook Is Calling For Bloomberg To Retract Its Chinese Spy Chip Story
"I feel they should retract their story. There is no truth in their story about Apple. They need to do the right thing."

Having said that, all major countries spy on another. That is just the world
In fact, China was able to catch not just one but Many CIA spies in their country in the recent past.
