What happens in a supply-demand imbalance? This discrepancy means that Asian men have to try harder and be better to attract/impress/win over an Asian woman. Then women can be more demanding and discriminating yet still get men far above their "dating league". This has led the women to develop an inflated sense of their own worth.

For example, they tend to be materialistic. In China, she won't give you a second look unless you have a car, good job, and house. In Hong Kong, women "train" their bfs to buy them expensive jewelry, make up, clothes, and handbags (no going outside without a Gucci or LV) from grade 5 on. It's also expected that their bfs work in one of the 3 prestige areas (banking, law, or medicine) and hand over all the salary upon returning home. Of course, she doesn't have to work and instead spends all day shopping with her gfs.

What's more, they're demanding and unsympathetic. They keep tabs on their bfs or husbands. If they're late to come home one day, it's a furious woman sitting on the couch who will refuse to talk to him for a whole week. Sex is used as a power tool to again control the men.

Even with that, Asian women are always looking to trade up. It's every Asian woman's dream to snag a rich foreign guy.

You can have that in every race. Looking for money isn't too bad. Sometimes, I really don't judge, never did. I've seen so many Thai girls in Germany, marrying an ugly, fat white man, who bought her. Living poor, changes you mind, about things. The need of a "good" life.
My friend married a Chinese woman, and both payed a lot of money to get to the point that she is allowed to live in Germany. She is very pretty and I think she could've found someone richer than him *lol*

Thai women aren't for sell, it's okay to generalise a group of people but you've insulted my nationality.

Of course, some will just sell their self but this doesn't mean every Thai girls in Germany will sell themselves to every rich man.

And from what I've heard, most inter-Thai married couple have better life in Thailand than they do in whereever else the partner is from.

I am attracted to Asian guys because a majority of them are handsome. I like black hair and the eyes.

Curiosity and difference in culture. Many western girls are hybrids and not pure bloods like Asians so there are definitely a lot more different types of beauty. That's just my opinion, but I have been attracted to girls from all different backgrounds.

I just like to try "new things". I think asian boys are smarter and more gentleman than Guatemalan/American guys. And I just imagine my kids with an asian man and that makes me think: "I will have BEAUTIFUL children" x)

@Ishi i think what u said is right,its like many white ppl blame blondes r dumb,thats just stereotype thing,its really not that true.nowadays,because of the globalisation,ppl woule easily get influenced by media,its like some western girls would misunderstand south korean r more beautiful than other asians,do u think it is true?also being korean,does north korean look less beautiful?how ridiculous it sounds!korean dramas make korean ppl famous,that doesnt mean beautiful asians r from korean only,TV media can only show part of the world,every coutry has beautiful ones and ugly ones,what i care most is the individual,just the person itself,so stop stereotyping ppl who has different race,nation,or whatever.

so right dude. People hate negative stereotypes about things they love yet they stereotype themselves. If south korea dont have all those TV shows and artists, maybe girls here would be a bit more fair to other asians lol

I even have a friend who told me that most south korean artists have performed surgery and the real face of a typical south korean should be like park ji sung or rain lol. Now obviously this is another mini stereotype but i can tell you a lot of normal south koreans are just like us. I think if every east asian person gets totally shaved, naked, and all that, it'd be very hard to differ which one is south korean, which is north korean, which is chinese, and which is japanese. It's only the styles that differ them one to another. Hell, even sometimes they have the same taste (casual and all that) in dressing.

To the 2 posters above me : Without Kpop and Korean dramas, 50% of the girls here wouldn't even have signed up.

i know man, that's why media plays such a huge role to today's community. Personally i would give props to korean and japs celebs for bringing these "niches" to asian men image in overall lol
