"I can't get a white (non-asian) girl because I'm Asian!"

I've heard some Asian guys bitch, moan, complain, and give excuses about not getting non-asian girls because of the fact that they are Asian. I personally believe being Asian is an advantage to dating as Asians are labeled as the "model minority." What is your take on this?

Is being an Asian male an uphill battle in today's dating scene, or a blessing?

I think it really depends on particular tastes. Some non-asian girls wouldn't consider dating an asian guy because they seem to appear more feminine than non-asian men.

hmm.....it's a matter of taste. some prefer blonde before brunette. some prefer staying in their own race, some prefer asian before others (like me><) and so on.
Minority of asian men look girlish, the girlish look is more popular and more in their(jrock, kpop) media. I think that's all.

I notice alot of girls here like that girly look.

I would say AMs have more of an uphill battle when it comes to dating interracially since AMs have very distinct physical characteristics...the shape of the eyes specifically.

Non-asian girls find that exotic.

Yep (no facial hair, skinny, long hair) and they dig K-Pop and J-Pop and the only Asian men are Japanese and Korean.

Physical appearance is just there to support that
Confidence and your approach plays a big role on this one also

I live where there's rarely any Asian around
and i hang out with 90% white kids and it makes no difference
either you're white or Asian when I'm out socializing with the girls or so it seems to me at least
