I have been on this site for three years. I have no luck finding someone on here

I think that you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket and perhaps explore outside of the realms of this site...there's a big ol' world out there

The site's cool in that people by definition have a more focused interest in Asian culture and in some cases guys too, so I wouldn't say it's a waste of time. I understand that it can be tough for us Asian guys with all the rubbish portrayals in media etc. which can make meeting people via other avenues daunting, but you have to challenge yourself to do so...understand that no one else will take responsibility of this aspect of life for you and YOLO.

I think in any event it's difficult to connect with people at the level you want without first talking to lots and lots of people...so it takes effort... and you will crash and burn often... as only a small percentage of people will understand you anyway, which is fine...just take this as a given. I've found this aspect tough, however the grind is worth it when you actually meet somebody on the same wavelength.

A lot of the time, I think Asian guys just don't ask girls out thinking some magic fairytale ending will come about for them through zero effort, where the girl will simply approach them for no reason whatsoever... it's this passive mentality which needs addressing more than anything I think.

Work on yourself...have something going for you...ask girls out more (and repeat). Good luck!
