Sci-Fi (or any other genre) book club? was created by alexthegreatwall
When I don't work 80-100 hours in the office, i really enjoy reading fiction. favourite genre? sci-fi, as the title may suggest. If there's any like-minded people out there, let's start a book club?

It may be old-fashioned, but i thought it might get the conversations rolling and what not.

Thanks.

I want to join this! I like Sci-fi but I haven't read as many books of this genre as I want. I'm normaly very busy but If I have to compromise with a time schedule I can do it :)

I currently don't have time to read but my favorite sci-fi saga is and will always be Ender's saga I don't remember if those were 7 books or something but it's worth it 100% recommended

I don't have favoritism for a Sci-Fi work, I love reading various works between classic, avant-garde and contemporary. During all these years in my spare time I have enjoyed reading the following Sci-Fi books; Classic Books: The Ender Game by Orson Scott Card, 1984 by George Orwell, Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne, The man in the castle of Philip K. Dick, A happy world by Aldous Huxley, Dune by Frank Herbert, Solaris by Stanislaw Lem, 2001: A space odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke, Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein, 20,000 leagues of underwater travel by Jules Verne, Series of Miles Vorkosigan by Lois McMaster Bujold, The Tale of the Maid of Margaret Atwood. Avant-garde books: The problem of the three bodies of Cixin Liu, Imperial Kalpa of Angelica Gorodischer, The stars, my destiny of Alfred Bester, The Moon is a cruel lover of Robert Heinlein, Saga of the Issac Asimov Foundation, The Old Guard of John Scalzi Valérian and Laureline, written by Pierre Christin. Contemporary books: Dioseros by Eduardo Vaquerizo, Positive asset of Mamen Tamayo, The fifth station of N. K. Jemisin, Who Fears Death of Nnedi Okorafor, Flight Behavior of Barbara Kingsolver, Mars trilogy of Kim Stanley Robinson, Walkaway of Cory Doctorow, Thirst of Benjamin Warner, Auxiliary Justice of Ann Leckie, Between the folds of Beijing by Hao Jingfang.

There are 6 books, Although currently the saga includes eleven novels and ten short stories, I also recommend it, is an acquisition with predictable nuances.
