i love supernatural/good-evil satanic thrillers. i have a thing for vampires, too.

i cannot watch "horror" films alone. i start "hearing" and "seeing" sh*t afterwards.

not a huge fan of gory/slasher or zombie flicks, but Childs Play (series), The Blair Witch project, Nightmare on Elm streer (series), ruined my life. i've had trouble going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, as a child... don't laugh.

There are too many that I like to name so I'll just share the one's that I didn't like. I absolutely cannot stand "The Ring" films I just don't find them entertaining.

The most recent one I've watched is "The Vatican Tapes", it was pretty boring.

I'm not a big horror film fan but i realllly thought The Wailing was great. No cheap jump scares, just the story is great. It keeps you guessing throughout the movie until the very end. I highly recommend it.

Today modern horror films barely left an impact on me except for a few. They don't hold a candle to the originals like Friday the 13th or Dracula (Christopher Lee of course). I would recommend Get Out and The Boy. The Boy has a few jump scares but they stick to the plot and this one indie flim, I'm Not A Serial Killer, is surprisingly refreshing.

Chucky is absolutely the worst thing created in all horror history. You must be one twisted sadist to come up with such monstrosity! brrrrr!

Insidious. I used to get sleep paralysis, which is honestly quite terrifying, so I could relate to the characters.

10 Cloverfield Lane. More of a suspense/psychological thriller than a horror flick, but I enjoyed it. Also John Goodman is the man. He's in the same category as Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise; not the best actors in the world but I tend to enjoy all of the movies in which they appear.

It Only Comes at Night. Haven't seen this one yet but it looks super promising. Really good cast and the preview looks amazing without giving too many spoilers.
