Just got back from seeing it. Explains a lot of things behind the Alien movies, such as the origin of the aliens themselves. All in all, the flick was very well made.

OH NOOO!!! Just watched it, Its HORRIBE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I wish i can unsee it and return my $$$ back, I'd probably rewatch Alien again, at least its more suspense.
This one is:
1. Not scary enough
2. Not explanatory enough
3. Not visual enough
4. We've seen it ALL before
5. The level of stupidity of main characters increases any reasoning

Its basically stupid people stuck on some ship in some ass of the universe with some sleazy "aliens" and infection. Pure gross... waste and neither scary or enterntaining even for a no-brainer.

P.S. What is Charlize Theron even doing there? It doesn't make any sense.

Just got back myself and found it to be pretty good film. I really enjoyed the details put forth into the visuals, meaning the set design and all.

Yeah I'm serious. How many movies actually put this much time and effort into creating sets not using CG?
