POLL : How many of you non-Asian girls have friends who are into Asian boys too?

A lot of my friends are into Asian guys! I have a Finnish friend who has posters of k-pop stars on her wall. I went to a very international all-girls highschool, so I think that influenced us a bit. I met many girls from Asian countries who were obsessed with Asian celebs, musicians, athletes, etc. Once I was introduced to Asian media, I got into Asian culture, and then finally Asian men. Ichirou Suzuki was my first crush on an Asian guy (besides Shang from Mulan, hahaha).

HAAH jks I was like 9 or something, idk I was a kid. What isn't there to like?? He's big, manly, and knows kung fu. I'm sure many ladies will agree. (Just for the record, I also had a crush on Simba when I was like 4.... LOL)

Hehe yay, I knew I couldn't be the only one!! If only they were real, eh? LOL

I'm a DUDE, but I would like to insert some feedback as well.

I am in Canada, and I know some that do especially this cute latina she asked me why no asian guys approach her so now when I bump into her at school I see these desperate looking white guys surrounding her like she is the bee queen which she only treats them like friends. And I have a feeling that some do not mind Asian guys but they are not fated yet to have an Asian boyfriend. Overall, I do think that Asian guys should just step it up and start approaching non-Asian girls because yes there are some that are not interested in Asian guys period but that is okay because everybody has a different taste (Personally, I am into Latinas, Europeans, Middle East, Indians), so just approach the ones that do or EVEN give it a try to convert the ones that don't -> do You NEVER know if you don't try, and she NEVER knows either if you don't give her a try and she's giving herself a try.

Here are some REAL life examples:

- Years ago, I was at the gym some white girl walked past by me and smiled at me and I looked at her then I walked away. Even today, I still regret why I did not talk to her or anything, and she's not the only chance that I missed. Now I have the guts no problem, and there is this brunette nursing student in class that seems interested in me, I am going to get her contact and then go to a Halloween party (still sucks that I missed those chances in the past, so don't end up like me)

- I lived in Mexico for 4 and half months, and I had 3 girls interested in me. I could have had more but my Spanish totally sucked and only a few people know English there. Not bragging or anything, but Latin America has a lot of girls 6 to 1 ratio and they DO like Asian guys. Like some girl said earlier in the thread she lived in Ohio there were barely any Asians and girls do like them. But when she moved to LA, there were tons of Asians but barely anyone is interested in them. Same thing with Mexico, they rarely see Asians down there, so I can see a huge potential to spread the love there.

- In Canada here I do see AMWF couples, but mostly they are either a Christian couple, hardcore Asians usually have preppy white chicks around them, young anime couples etc. But one time when I went for dim sum I saw several tables with an older Asian guy around 33 or above have a family with a decent looking white wife and that seems normal to them. I think sometimes we care a lot about oh Asian guy, White girl that. But to them, it is just pure love, pure connection.

I live in Toronto, Canada. I am sure that there are plenty of non-asian girls here that are interested in asian guys. I have even met a few through hey-ai. Although I have yet to see any of my personal friends be interested.

Well, girls walk by and smile at me all the time. It doesn't mean that they fancy me. Most of the time actually if I were to pursue based on nothing more than a smile, she'd think I'm an overly forward creepy stranger.

That depends on where you are. People do not smile at strangers all the time for no reason, at least not here. Not really, it depends on how you present yourself. If you are overly forward, then you are creepy of course haha. But I am sure we are all smart enough not to do that.
