That's one of the problem as well: tinycat wants you to create a dedicated acount to get into chatroom now. Whereas, in the past you just had to click the link, enter the password, change the default username on 1st visit, & that's it.

Another unpleasant update in Tinycat: nowadays, you have to keep microphone button pressed to activate it. Whereas in the past, it could be activated permanently when webcam is up, so that we could listen to Gil (Piano_man) playing piano all night long.
@ Tinycat: GIVE US BACK our piano concerts ! :angry:

Piano Concerts do sound nice!!
If you come across a better chat option, we're more than happy to switch. So far, our tests have only found worse options.
We ARE asking for a lot, though:

- Free of charge
- Mod-able (Kicking, Banning, ...)
- Cam capable

Bonus features:
- Ability to set chat username to site username (used to be possible with TinyChat)
- Embeddable (used to be possible with TinyChat)
- Microphone always-on (used to be possible with TinyChat)

heh thats because they are busy cupcaking each other lol.
but back then it was fun, most of the people in there have met each other in real life and they have made heyai meetups beacuse of that chat room but everybody seems to have found somebody now. the members that were in that chat often have moved on to discord but they are tight knit. Theres a meetup in canada in a couple months and another one in NYC.
