i might be not the first person asking this question, but is there any text chat and not the video one... would appreciate your answer.

Well in the chatroom, although you can use webcam, you can also stick to typing text. Nobody will force you to cam up if you don't want to.

I hope there is a discord server for heyai, it's super convenient and organized. The one webcam chat(tinyeye) we are using right now is outdated and some user like me don't want to cam or feel the peer pressure to cam since most users there use face cam. I was there a couple time and every time the minute I joined in and tried to set up my name, the people there will pressure me to cam or talk.

I really do not speak much English, but if I understand and it's different since I joined the chat you should enter a website like this nobody has been pressured to talk about echo I am one of the ones who speaks in Spanish by the microphone

Who were these people, if I may ask ?
And if you didn't cam up, did they threaten you in any way ?

not threatening of course, one time they said they gonna log off because some of guests(including me) are just there peeping, and sorry I can't give you the names because it's not a good thing to do and I don't have screenshots to back it up. But I do believe they want me to talk because I was logged on as a guest, meanwhile I was trying to figure out how to change my name. I understand it's extra fun to have more fun talk and cam with but telling guests to talk to talk while they are still trying to figure out how to use the thing is not so welcoming.

A while ago we are some people in the chat and a guy is sleeping and I leave his cam on and until the moment is going well

Tape your webcam if you do not want to be seem =D
