Youtube video on your profile

how do I do it ? I would appreciate if anyone can help

Yes, thank you! I have been struggling with this for a while. Tried hitting the ladder like film button, and embedding the http link for vid in between tags, or embed/share url there, or before or after or replacing the word youtube as videotype with this url. Could never get it to work no matter what. Ie9, or mozilla both. I don't get this either.

yea ! ive tried everything, yet i saw some kids that have youtube vids on their profiles. helpppppp !

unfortunatelly i couldn't find a way to put videos in the profile except the video player XD
you can put like a playlist of your youtube clips,
all you have to do is to go edditing your profile and at video player you will have a help link with all the intructions

OK, here is what I have discovered so far which works in forum posts, but not on profile edits. Why I do not know.



To embed a video in a forum post go to the highlighted icon:







Left click it once, and the following video embedding menu will show up:







Then cut your youtube video url, and paste it into the URL field of the menu.



Click the Insert Video button:







And the following code should pop up in your text editing window:







When you submit your post, a nicely embedded video preview, which will play if clicked shows up.



The problem is when I repeatedly click the video editor button when trying to embed one in my profile, the video embed menu never shows up.



Is it broken?

Yes I have also been having issues posting youtube videos. I tried the playlist option following the instructions given here /main/howto/68-youtuberss by joomarulez. Unfortunately my playlist that pops up does not look as nice as his nor does it actually play. It just gets stuck on the streaming. I tried refreshing and re-entering the code but it doesn't work. Does it have anything to due with me using Chrome?

I think there is an issue at the back-end of Hey Ai where it fails to stream data from a source to the front-end of the site, thus causing JW Player to continuously stream but then fails to output the actual video/audio. Or perhaps also the JW Module is outdated? And needs an update...

This is as far as it will progress (image below). A continuous hypnotizing wheel of doom... in which case teases my hopes and dreams, anticipation that it will magically work properly one day.

I heard from adminsif you donate you can embed yt videos on your page. Its just a rumor so dont take my word for it....I have a suggestion how to get more people to donate to the site too if any admins are interested.
