大家好!

Well, I am doing an article for homework about the Great leap forwards. I don't know if anyone in hey-ai know a lot about it but... Actually the bureaucratic -political-economic tensions were because o Mao using communism as a field to obtain his own pleasures and ego high, isn't it? At that time Mao took economy at his hands too and made the communes so that the people would trust him, without thinking that people would go and pick up for ex: more rice than normal...

In short, the great leap forward was a failured ettempt to industrialize the country by , trying, to become a international leading steel producer. The knowledge of of producing quality steel was limited so it became pretty bad. In the process many pesants had their equipment handed (or in some cases taken) to the be melted, and that put them in a very bad position when the harvest failed and the country suffered a famine.

Mao himself was sorounded by carreer seeking beauroucrats who, sometimes, didn't want to tell him the truth of the situation in order to not be the "bad messanger". I dont think he did it for his own pleasure and ego, we have to remember that history is a battlefield of ideologies and since the Peoples Republic has been seen as a conterpart to the west (toghether with the USSR) its important to try to see what was real ettempts to kill ppl, and what was just pretty bad ruling.

BTW, I think that the communes where established before tglf, during the revolution and civil war but im not sure.

If it is only a course essay or class paper, I guess you can turn that in. It is a pretty standard answer and should get credit for you. Just as people can always repeat that Sun goes around Earth in a Catholic school before 16 century, because that is what the teachers want, probably was taught, to hear.

I think the rich landowners were disowned and the land was given to the people quite late. Then a few years later it was taken from them again and communes were established. And that was before TGLF.

Yeah, you all are right about it. I don't think it was about PERSONAL ego, but about a 'romantic' way to see communism and revolution, making changes without really think about it and how the people would use the communes or that the people couldn't make the quota he demanded.

China is not communist nation any more but bloody national capitalism state. and it is still in earlier stage of capitalism now competition, strongest fit. Capitalism doesn't have to shift China into democratic country

Real communism countries are Sweden and Switzerland.

Chairman Mao and many core members of Chinese communist party are freemansons, they have been working for illuminati group since 1920.
