Best places to learn Spanish? Aside from actually living in a Spanish speaking country...

My name is Sam and I want to pick up Spanish again. I currently live in NY and we have a big Spanish speaking patient population here, so I thought speaking Spanish would help me out a lot down the road. And besides, Spanish is a sexy language, so why not?

I have some basic Spanish skills and have traveled latin America for a few weeks.

But it's also good to find language buddies to practice actual usage as sometimes the formal way one learns to use a language and how it's actually used by native speakers is a little different.
