One hard part of learning korean IMO, is that it's very bounded to the culture and dayly life over there, which make's it difficult to apply it here in the west.

the hard part for me was sentence structure. all the words are all over the place and I keep putting words at the start that are meant to be in the middle and vice versa. In my head it makes sense but the answers are always something different to what I wrote down when I test myself.

and I still dont know when to use particles and when its ok to omit them. sigh...this language ..lol <3

I'm definitely wanting sone friends who understands this language well enough to help me out. i really great app i ended up buying after I couldn't go further was "word fireworks korean" :-). it's 3 and some change. newbies get on that!
