While it's possible that Big Bounce might replace Big Bang, technically speaking, when the bounce happen that's "this universe" and previous version is going to be different universe, and different physical rules.

Not to mention, we have to consider the possibility of many-world-interpretation of Quantum Mechanics.

So we are delving into the highly theoretical, philosophical realm of discussion here. But,

"This universe", that we, as scientists can confirm through repeated observations, is still 13.8 billion years.

And most likely, ones we can't observe (like pre-bounce universe, or post-bounce universe, or multi-world-based-on-quantum-mechanics universe)...have different rules and we don't consider those "this one".

And don't make me try to explain that in Japanese. While Japanese is my native language, I didn't study high-energy physics there. So

確かに日本語はほとんど日本でしか使えないから勉強しても喋る機会が無いのが現実。
日本人じゃなかったら実用性低い。

でも日本のアニメ／ドラマを鑑賞すには便利かも。
