Do asian guys think latina's don't like them?

So yesterday my guy friend who's korean told me he like's latina girls, but that he never has confessed to me cause he thinks I will never like him because he's korean.

I wanna know do all asian guys think that? Cause later on I find out that the reason they didn't ask me out was because they thought I didn't like them.

Honestly I find all asian guys handsome and sweet but it seems like they never come up to me they just keep it as a secret.

yes well not anymore. when i was in grade school it used to be like that. all the girls made fun of me for being asian and said they would never want to date me. umm..of course this was years ago girls are open to everything nowadays so beats me. i still feel weary about it though. not all of them do. i just happen to be the only one who graduated from my high school who was asian. lol

but i hear from my latina friend that her friends are obsessed with asians. so yeah..*shrugs* i'm confused. lol! XD you people are weird.

It depends on where the guy grew up. I grew up in a predominately latin neighborhood and new a lot of latin girls that liked me as well as girls from every ethnicity.

I only encounted one girl in elementary school who did not like me because I was asian and had a house party where everyone was invited, but me. Apparently her father didn't like asians so she never invited me to the party while the whole class was invited.

I really didn't care back then that I was not invited, but now that I think about it, it really did suck. That might have been my first real racist encounter I experienced.

The thing is racisim happens. I would sometimes go to a mexican restaurant and hear chino cochino, but honestly this was very rare and did not change my perception on whether a latina would like me or not.

When I was young I never thought that a girl wouldn't like me because I was asian....I would think that she did not like me because she was not attracted to me, whether I was asian or not never honestly crossed my mind.

Latinas and Asians make the cutest coupe, it's true.

I grow up in a hispanic/black/eastern european immigrants neighborhood and there were very few asian through out elementary and Jr. HS school, unfortunately being a minority, it automatically make you a target for bullying, even the girls push me around and in few occasions gave me a beat down...

so for the longest time, I didn't think non-asian girls would have any romantic notion toward asian guys (not unless you're like the cream of the crops...tall, dark, and handsome)

Describe what is a latina girl.

Is it someone from South America only or including Mexcian, and central American girls.

pretty much. technically brazilians don't count as hispanics but generally are considered latina.

Maybe the disproportionate ratio indicates why the Asian males do not think that the non-Asian females are interested in them, therefore, the Asian males put less effort into pursuing non-Asian females, and appear more "shy" or less "confident" to the non-Asian females?

I was told by a boricua that Latinas value a guy that can Latin dance. And many Latinas automatically assume that the Asian guys can not dance since the rhythm and timing is very important in the Latin dances, which is a learned or acquired skill for the Asian guys and unlike the Latin guys who may have grown up with the dances and is natural for them.

So given the overall ratio of Latinas preferring Latinos over the Asians and the perception that Asian guys can not Latin dance, Asian guys may assume that the Latinas do not like them, and may put less effort into pursuing Latinas.

Well I know plenty of girls at my high school that like asian boys they are at least 4 asian boys in my grade and I know a hispanic friend that is in 8th grade that went out with one of them. So sometimes there is a possibility that they don't think so depending on the girl well that is my guess. Another thing is that sorry to all asians who were made fun by my race and i hope you live a happy life.
