It's not important! As long as it does not interfere, and not cause problems in your current relationship..
I would forgive! Depending on the circumstances, and the honesty of the person..
If there was lack of respect, trust, loyalty ...Difficult to forgive!

There's some allowance, but not too many. There are issues relating to historical baggage and health risk in physical relations. Prolific relations also suggests you give yourself too freely and that tends not to bode well or be a good precedent for long term relationships. By hardwired evolution most men simply don't like partners to have been extensively involved with other men. In a liberal modern, loose society, men may have to make some allowance, but again it's not fantastic to be too prolific with sexual partners. I think this is the honest answer.

Honesty is the best policy

I don't really care about how many previous partners my bf's had. There are different reasons why someone's count would be high. I know that from experience, so I would never judge someone for a high count or low for that matter.
