View profile visitors?

So I just had an idea. I've seen this done on a few other sites before and I think it woul be a niceaddition to here.

I think you should make it so people can see who viewed their profile. Right now it just has a counter of visitors which is also public but I think it would be cooll for a person to view which hey ai members have viewed their profile (of course this wouldn't be allowed to be public. Just to the owner of the profile). It would be neat to see who was interested enough to take a look. I know I enjoy this feature.

Please consider it!

Hey Kitteh, yeah some other sites have this. There are the obvious advantages, but the main disadvantage is that it doesn't allow people like me to stalk people like san_ichiban anonymously.

For this reason, the sites which have this also allow you the option of anonymity - if you turn this on, people won't know you've stalked their profile, but at the same time you will not be able to know who's been stalking you (in my case probably no one, since on one is interested in me).

Haha yes it would ruin the stalkers. But isn't stalking supposedly bad? Not that I care because I probably stalk as well and more then likely don't have any myself.

But I was assuming that the visitor count didn't repeat people. Like if I viewed your profile it would only count me once. I didn't see why that couldn't be the same for this. That way stalkers could remain anonymous because it would only show them once :3

They should also implement a stalk ranking feature where users are ranked base on how many profiles they look at each day.

How about allowing people to choose whether they want to be exposed or not?

OP, Why do u even want to look up whose stalking u? Those are better kept secret lol
