Vietnam Trip For summer 2013

Im thinking about going to visit my country this summer around june for one month. HMU if anyone interested or wanna see how SaiGon Vietnam look like .

im planning tostay for a month . probly june until july.

I was there 5 days ago in Saigon and did abit of travelling around. Currently missing pho from pho quynh and street food bank mi.

Stay in the backpackers district bui vien/pham ngu lao its more lively.

I was there in October to December this year. One of my highlights of my life. I spent most of my time in Ha tien and about two weeks in Saigon. I even visited Cambodia during my trip. If you have questions please feel free and ask me.

There are a lot robbers in vietnam now. Vietnam is pretty poor because of the inflation, corruption...

If you travel to vietnam, you have to pay attention to everyone.

Vietnam will become a democratic country one day coz it has got its own congress like USA so people can vote for their election of candidate of governors ..Has already started its political reform now..Futhermore, u can visit youtube and facebook easily not like in mainland China..

If you're talking about the moped/scooter thieves in Saigon District 1 its usually because of how they target a person. Using a phone is best to do it in the shop and not walking while talking. I almost had my iPhone stolen as the thief attempted to snatch it out of my hand but luckily i manage to pull him off the bike and give the guy a beat down. Oh i got a free moped out of it.

Whenever i see tourist they must always wear the shoulder bags over them and not just one strap it. I've seen this to often when they try to take the bag off a person. Usually in the backpacker district.

Inflation - Well if its being ripped off then yes as a tourist you're bound to be. If they say it in dollar price always say it in Dong as its the official currency.

The end of course is to be smart where ever you go. Vietnam is currently a fast growing economy and i suspect it will rise even further with the redevelopments around the country. If i had shite loads of money I'll buy property in Saigon - District 7 where they are currently modelling the area to be like Singapore.
